Current bandwidth and max bandwidth always at 0 even when in use #54

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Starting Server
2. Restarting Server
3. Normal use of server

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Normally when using UMS, it displays the current bandwidth and maximum
bandwidth on the main screen of the program, but for some reason it always
stays at 0 even when I'm streaming to my PS3.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
2.6.0 for Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit.

Please provide any additional information below.
On earlier versions it still wouldn't usually display it, but then on occasion
it would work and they would show, but most of the time they stay at 0, even
when the program is in use!

I do not have this issue, but I am having a possible Bandwidth issue. When I
used PS3 Media Server, I could have my PS3 connected through my LAN, and I was
able to use my Wireless for Internet with no problems.
With UMS 2.6.4 , I have the same setup, but for some reason my Wireless I use
for Internet is so slow. It is almost like having one step up from Dial-up bu
the LAN is perfect and videos which had problems before run better than before.
Also there are times when running .avi or .mp4 files, it will just stop or
pause playing and have to restart the video. When it stops, it displays a Error
MSG saying there was a network error. But the pause issue is random. Will be
running a Video and all of a sudden, it will just pause the video and the only
response I can do is to go back to the Video Folder by pressing O and playing
it again.

I'm using 2.6.4 as well and I'm having ton of issues. I also have the random
pausing problem. Also whenever I stream mkv files, they don't play back in
realtime. I have to sit and wait about 5-6 minutes about every 25 minutes of
film :/ Third, majority of my videos now don't show the video track when I play
them on my PS3 through UMS... It plays the audio just fine but the video won't
show. These are all videos I've had for a long time and they worked with all
the old versions... I'm really hoping the devs are going to fix this. I posted
this literally 6-7 versions ago and it looks like they don't even check this
page :( getting close to just getting a different program D:
