I thought about some new features to add to the Addon:

kodi_plugin_video_srgssr_ch_replay drawio

Allow the user to choose a default BU in the settings (with a "choose in the addon" choice)
Having a main menu with the different browsing choices:
- All shows: displays all the shows
- Shows sorted by letter
- Shows by topics: using the topiclist API: https://developer.srgssr.ch/apis/srgssr-video/docs/topiclist
- Trendings: using the most clicked API: https://developer.srgssr.ch/apis/srgssr-video/docs/mostclicked
- Search: Searching TVshows (https://developer.srgssr.ch/apis/srgssr-video/docs/searchshowlist) or Videos (https://developer.srgssr.ch/apis/srgssr-video/docs/searchvideolist)
- History: listing the history of the watched videos (storing the IDs in the userdata folder)
- Live: Could be great if we manage to make the livestreams work (https://developer.srgssr.ch/apis/srgssr-video/docs/livestreams). The widevine DRM seems to be available for the DASH stream (e.g. with RTS2 live: https://api.srgssr.ch/videometadata/v2/3608517/mediaComposition?bu=rts)

Proposal: We should integrate All shows, sorted by letter and search with version 3.0.4 and then deliver the others with a later version. The shows by topic was requested by a user anyway and therefore this feature should be included in 3.0.4 or latest 3.0.5.

We should also have a setting where the main menu can be skipped e.g. default can be Shows sorted by letter an and so users who do not want to use the other settings can save a click

That's a good idea yes. I'm currently working on the Menu part to make the code more scalable. And the default BU code is already done here :arrow_right: https://github.com/joachimBurket/kodi_plugin_video_srgssr_ch_replay/tree/feature/new_features
