Picking up smg then pistol won't spawn enemies #4

i walked away from the pistol at the start, then stacked boxes to get to where you get the smg. i pick the smg up, then go back and get the pistol. enemies don't spawn

Hmm weird, did you try it a second time? Did it behave exactly the same way? @xamareik

i had a similar issue: i picked up the pistol and the yellow keycard, opend the door with the keycard, then picked up the shotgun and monsters don't spawn
