It'd be nice to be able to disable the 'coins' noise when receiving 
transactions or perhaps set it to vibrate instead.

What's wrong with just silencing the phone? Is there a reason you'd want it to 
make a noise for text messages but not for coins?

In a word, yes.  There are times where a person won't necessarily want a 
'change/coin' sound to be going off repeatedly.  In certain environments its 
better to have it be a short tone of some sort, like a click or beep.  
Vibrate/Silent isn't always an option in those scenarios.  I don't consider 
this to be a high priority feature request.  Its just one of those "This bug is 
frustrating me and I need something different to work on for a bit".

The control Android gives about notifications is good enough for now.
