Bottom bar could be a progress bar #103

Rather than "3 hours behind", "2 hours behind" etc, it'd be nice to have the 
bottom bar fill up from left to right indicating sync progress. Also how about 
deleting the nerdy mention of the word "block chain", users probably never 
heard of it. It could just say "Synchronizing with network" like MultiBit or 
Bitcoin-Qt does.

I like your proposal of replacing "block chain" by "synchronizing with network".

However, I think that progress bars and percent values do not work, because at 
some point you'll not see the difference between 99.99 and 100 (as blockchain 
grows).

I'll fold this into the general discussion of how the bottom bar should look.
