Support P2SH addresses #249

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

Recently a patch for bitcoinj was created to support P2SH addresses:

https://code.google.com/p/bitcoinj/issues/detail?id=461

It would be great if you merged it so finally the most used Android wallet gets
to support multisignature addresses.

Mike is the one who decides about merges to bitcoinj. He already explained he
will merge it as soon as all the parts are ready.

Mike added P2SH support today:

I'm about to release a project that provides an interface for multisig
transactions, so it would be great to have support for it in android wallet.

Great! I can build you a test version if you need it. For a release, we need to
release bitcoinj 0.11 first. I don't know how far that is in the future. Maybe
its time to start planning.
