Transaction not showing #54

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Donated 0.1 BTC to Bitcoin Android donation address
2. Reset blockchain and transactions multiple times.
3. Attempted to move the coins to another address.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected balance to be updated to show 1.5 instead of 1.6 (1.6 is previous
balance before donation) The transactions are not finding themselves into the
blockchain. Also the donation transaction, despite being in the blockchain is
not being displayed in the client.

What version of Bitcoin Wallet are you using? On what Android version and
what phone? Don't just state 'most recent', this is not enough info.

- Version 1.36
- Android version 2:3.4
- htc sensation

If you have problems with particular transactions, what is your Bitcoin
address? If you happen to have transaction IDs, please state them as well.

Please provide any additional information below.

After resetting the blockchain and transactions it will appear there, but after
closing the app and loading again it will 'forget' that transaction

I tried to move 1.6 coins, but knew this would be rejected as there is only 1.5
on the address. So I reset chain and attempted to move 1.5 but both
transactions have no confirmations and are not included in any blocks.

Not sure why, but reset transactions and blockchain gor the umpteenth time and
it all works now! Please close this issue!

If you've upgraded to 1.39 in the meantime, this is very well possible.
Previous versions had bugs that manifested into the wallet.

Thanks for the update, I'll close this issue.
