"unconfirmed" transaction freezes remaining balance in Bitcoin Wallet #56

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. (Good question!) Send bitcoins from the wallet-app?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A Completed transfer (black font). Instead I have an "unconfirmed" grey font
and remaining funds no longer available.

Bitcoin wallet is version 1.36. Phone is a Samsung Galaxy S2 (Android 2.3.4
Gingerbread)

If you have problems with particular transactions, what is your Bitcoin
address? If you happen to have transaction IDs, please state them as well.

The transaction that has not gone through is:
8483624d31159835088ff03c9db595e9e29cf696d4d9e44fef7005c84c8350b7
and my Bitcoin wallet has the address:
15YcyFoWvH2sAyaZLAPm6TpFf3VWDKwKQ6

The problem arose after trying to send 8 BTC (plus 0.0005 BTC fee).
As I wrote above, the transaction is still grey (dispite being recorded in
block 150676) and - worse - the rest of the Bitcoin that was in my Bitcoin
Wallet at the time of the transfer is no longer available to spend/send.
Bitcoin wallet shows the correct balance of 36.99866 BTC (as confirmed in
blockexplorer) on the main screen, but in the "send" tab only 19.0 BTC is
"available" and BTC 19.99866 is "waiting for confirmation".

The really strange thing is that all those BTC 19.99866 + the 8.0005 were
already in my Bitcoin Wallet and were "confirmed" before I initiated the 8.0005
BTC transaction, but now they are no longer available.

What happened and how do I get my BTC 19.99866 back to "confrimed" status?

Thanks for an otherwise awesome app!

PS.
I have used the app for months without issue, so I don't know what happened
here. Perhaps I upgraded the app, but I don't remember.

Could you update to 1.39 and then reset your transactions + blockchain (in
Options->About)?

Version 1.36 had a bug that could very well cause your issue. Sorry about that.

Please feel free to report back any positive or negative experiences.

Done!

It works, but strangely, I had to reset blockchain+transactions twice
before it worked. (After the first time I somehow "had" 117.00514 BTC and
some of them awaiting confirmation?) After the second reset, everything
works.

thanks for a quick reply!
