password protection for wallet

Hello,
I would like to see password protection for bitcoin wallet for android. I would 
feel more secure about a potentially lost phone if my bitcoins were not easily 
accessible. Secondly, I would like to be able to use bitcoin wallet in 
combination with dropbox to sync an encrypted version of the wallet across 
several devices for protection. Is this possible today or is it something that 
needs to be added support for?

Why close this issue? Export of wallet is a different issue from the one I 
made. I want to be able to make sure a password is entered before a payment can 
be sent, like in the desktop bitcoin client (0.5). I will also make a new issue 
ticket for dropbox + encrypted wallet combo.

I agree, we should have a password for the wallet application preventing misuse 
(not just the backup).
This is a standard option on other wallets like blockchain.info's Android 
wallet for example.
