dropbox + bitcoin-wallet's encrypted wallet file #67

I would like to be able to use bitcoin wallet in combination with dropbox to
sync an encrypted version of the wallet across several devices for protection.

Bitcoin inherently does not support multiple wallets with the same key. Thus,
the "sync" usecase you described will probably never be implemented.

If you just want to backup, this is already covered by issue 10.

I have used the same wallet on my Nexus and Galaxy Note for about a month with
no issues. I just backed up the app with titanium backup and restored it on my
nexus. Sending a transaction on one makes it show up on the other (same with
receiving). Is this a bad solution?

As long as you wait for I'd say about 30 minutes after switching the wallet,
the risk for unintended double spending is quite low. Still I do not recommend
this type of setup.

That said, there is now version 2.3 RC available for testing. It can
import/export wallets to external storage.

In a way, this is now implemented by being able to export to and import from
Google Drive (and other services that implement the correct intent filters in
their apps).

Still, it is unsupported to use Bitcoin Wallet this way.
