What version of Bitcoin Wallet do you have installed? What phone are you using?
Try hooking up to a charger and being well connected to a WLAN.

Hi,
I'm using the latest version (1.52) on a eee pad transformer 101 with
ice cream sandwich. I think that the problem is related to ics. The
tablet is fully charged and connected to my home ADSL.

Can you update to 2.01 and try again?

I think I've found the problem: my dsl provider! Using the connection of my
phone there are no problems.
What can I do to bypass my provider's restrictions?
Thanks

Try to get the Satoshi client to run on your PC. Does that work? If yes, you
could connect to the client via Bitcoin Wallets "trusted peer" option.

I'm closing this as this was probably no proper internet connection.
