Dysfunction of Panopto Video Downloader Extension #10

To Whom It May Concern,

As of roughly a month ago, the Google Chrome extension known as "Panopto Video Downloader" has ceased altogether to work on Panopto webpages. Whenever I click on the icon, nothing happens. I have restarted the browser and my computer and deleted and re-downloaded the extension many times, without any success.

Why has it suddenly stopped working?

Met the same problem here. Still can work last week but not today. :(

Does anyone know what can be done about it or who might be able to fix it? Five days ago, I emailed leernc@gmail.com, which is the address provided under "Contact the developer" on the Chrome Web Store, but I have not had any reply yet.

It has stopped working for me as well. A similar extension, Panopto Downloader, also seems to have stopped working, so perhaps it's not the fault of this extension?

In light of the evidence that I have seen thus far, I can only surmise at present that these extensions are no longer able to download Panopto videos associated with certain institutions, such as universities and libraries.

I do not know. I have already done everything of which I could think.
