Found a working method #12

Hi everybody, this firefox extension worked for me pretty well "https://addons.mozilla.org/it/firefox/addon/hls-downloader/". I think that Panopto is now sharing only hls video sources, so plain mp4 links cannot be found anymore in the page sources. Hope the developer can replicate the hls-downloader method.

only downloads the sound ... no video.

Works for me when there is 1 view. When the slide and video are next to each other it only downloads 1 screen (not 2 next to eachother like the extension)

ANother workaround I found to do this is using '1DM' on my Android phone and browse to Panaptop. Once a video is playing I donwload it using that app.

Is a bit extra work, but it works
