Shutting down automatically? #12

Hey,

This is somewhat off-topic but I have been having an issue whereby I cannot actually use my tablet for very long as it automatically shuts down. Any ideas? I wanted to move forward with installing linux but clearly that would be a bad idea in the current state since the tablet losing power half way through installing linux would leave it in an unusable state

It sounds like an issue with C-States. Try to disable C-States in the CPU to see if that improves anything.

You should know the tablet will preform worse without C-States. But for testing purposes.

I've run into this issue as well I think, but wasn't able to figure out the cause..

Yeah same... Mine is no longer usable

Mine completely died a few months ago. My guess is the battery gave out, and the unexpected power off events were an early sign of it.
