Feature Description

Provides a comprehensive list of 24/7 helplines and mental health services for quick access during emergencies. Find contact information for crisis hotlines, including:

Mental health crises
Suicide prevention
Domestic violence
Substance abuse

This ensures immediate support when needed.

Use Case

Reaching Out for Help

Someone feeling overwhelmed by sadness and having suicidal thoughts.

Goal: Find help quickly through the EmoWell app.

Opening the EmoWell app during a moment of distress.
Filtering nearby helplines based on the issue, such as mental health, suicide prevention, domestic violence, and substance abuse.
Discovering a list of 24/7 helplines covering the selected issues.
Selecting the suicide prevention hotline for immediate support.

Outcome: They connect with a trained professional who provides immediate assistance, offering guidance and resources to help them through the crisis.

Benefits

Quickly finding and connecting to crisis helplines based on specific issues provides immediate support when it's needed most.
