Monte Carlo simulation of FSO channels #1

Is it possible that the program code for Monte Carlo simulation of FSO channel performance for classical channel models (Gamma-Gamma, LogNormal, Rician, Rayleigh, ...) can be applied to complex channel models obtained by a combination of classical models? Eg. for performance such as BER, capacity, etc. Thanks in advance.

It is possible, as long as you test the system with enough numbre of bits. Have a look at this link to find out about required number of bits and the confidence level of BER test. BER Confidence-level Calculator
