Hello friends I think that could be amazing if elementaryPlus had some icons existing as PNGs for other apps in elementary XFCE, this is why I had searched for some apps wich could be benefited of a port of another icon to SVG

Bijiben (Notes) icon=bijiben ported from=xfce4-notes-plugin GNOME Weather icon=org.gnome.Weather.Application ported from=weather-storm GNOME calendar icon=org.gnome.Calendar ported from=office-calendar GNOME clocks icon=gnome-clocks ported from=clock

Could you provide the example icons?

sergioad commented 8 years ago

Lamentably no because the icons allready are SVG on their git repo and I am not in Xubuntu anymore, anyway i can describe them:

clock= the same as the one used on Switchboard for the time and date plug, a white clock gnome-calendar= the same as Maya gnome-weather a cloud with rain xfce4-notes-plugin is a bunch of sticky notes and a pen writing on one of them, it is so nice

This is what i found interesting, listing xfce4-appfinder:

abiword - though it is closer to text editor look, original brand look is not bad too baobab blueman - some symbolic icon catfish claws-mail - like for geary / pantheon-mail compiz fusion icon - someone still might love compiz empathy gnome-sound-recorder gnumeric hardinfo orage orage_globaltime parole - xfce version looks sharper thunar xfcalendar xfce4-appfinder xfce4-composite-editor xfce4-dict (may be other dicts too) xfce4-power-management-settings xfce4-screeshooter xfce4-session xfwm4-settings xfwm4-tweaks-settings
