update configure to check for newer GD #1808

trying to build CVS today

Configure says

configure: checking for GD 2.0.16 or higher...

but in order to compile, you need 2.0.33 I guess.

So perhaps configure should be updated...

Yes, the new curved labels require brand new functionality in GD. We've talked 
about how to handle but we've not done anything about it. I'll bring it up 
again.
