documentation search not working #3476

Works for me. I am not allowed to close it. Could you do it @jmckenna ?

Well, search behaves very strange - some searches return results, but others (that should return something) don't.

@greenwood I cannot duplicate your problem locally or on the public website. What happens if you search for 'scale' at this URL? http://www.mapserver.org/search.html I do know that this search tool requires Javascript to be enabled in your Web browser, so it is possible that your browser (I.E./Firefox) is preventing that tool to be used.

In general though, the search functionality (out-of-the-box in Sphinx) works well, but there is a known issue with a search term of 3 characters or less (the last I looked into that issue it hadn't been fixed in Sphinx yet).
