Capability: Specify the style of a map #65

This issue is for discussion of the required API capability “Specify the style of a map”.

"style" might be too big a concept for a single capability. Are we talking about selecting between a set of alternative map layers from the server? Or about custom CSS styling of vector graphics? The APIs would be rather different between the two.
