This relates to https://github.com/Maps4HTML/Web-Map-Custom-Element/issues/271 but I believe the problem is that the GeoServer module needs to be updated to serve <meta name="projection" content="cbmtile"> and <meta name="cs" content="pcrs"> now that these have been implemented.

Indeed that was the case. Now, multiple query results are correctly highlighted, per the screen capture:
