Absolutely no apology needed! I'm glad if the PR could be of any help to you. I'm going to test this PR next.

New issues

It seems that the latest ComfyUI Front-end version (starting with 1.3.1) is introducing additional AnyBus issues:

After a workflow reload the assigned pin types (model, clip, vae, latent...) are no longer set
Sometimes AnyBus connections using string type nodes (multi-line etc.) have empty / undefined outputs. The data is not being set or routed correctly. I'm still looking for a reproducible pattern.

I'll try to do some debugging and will open an issue or PR when I find out more.
