Need a mechanism to create standalone pdf from each tex fragment, without misleading table number. #51

Currently, pdf versions of tables can be created from data frames (as.pdf) or 
from tex fragments in storage (tex2pdf).  Typically these have misleading table 
numbers (1).  Consider also an option to create these as a by-product of tex 
fragment creation.

only occurs for processes using ltable, which supports an auto-numbered 
caption.  Advice on the web is not to use captions if you don't like the 
numbers:  just include your text.
