Things to do before go-live

We are trying to get an initial version of the site out on the 9th with:

• The events listings page
• The events detail page

And nothing else.

To achieve this we need to know/do the following things

• [ ] Deployment

  Where? How? What will the url be? Who is responsible for making it happen? @MarcelCutts?

• [ ] Set up feature flags and don't build generic content pages

• [x] Make the events page the index page

• [ ] Finish Event Details page

  • [ ] The Google Maps API key seems to not be working right now?
  • [ ] Add Accessibility section

• [ ] Test on many devices/browsers

  • [ ] iPhone safari
  • [ ] Android Chrome
  • [ ] macOS Chrome
  • [ ] macOS Safari
  • [ ] macOS Firefox
  • [ ] windows Chrome
  • [ ] windows Firefox
  • [ ] windows Edge
  • [ ] windows IE11

Please add things I've missed or forgotten. We could also convert this document to a 'project' kanban board to help keep track of these.

What are using for feature flags, LaunchDarkly?

I think LaunchDarkly is overkill for our use case. Just a js file with some constants should be fine! I'll set it up now.

I saw you mention one of my issues in a previous version of this bug,

so here just to mention you can probably apply for an open source saucelabs account to help with browser testing.
