Crashing on latest Kubuntu / Plasma 6 #27

I installed the plugin plus dependencies like described in the readme. When i set any page, local or online and press apply, the desktop crashes and restarts with the last background image. So the plugin is currently not usable at all.

System: Kubuntu 24.10 X11 / Wayland (happens with both) Happens on any GPU (bare metal / VM)

Can you please fix it? :)
