Can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software #77

I couldn't launch the installer due to this alert: "can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software"

I had to go right-click open, then I could ignore the alert and open anyway.

I'm using Mac OS Catalina.

This is probably the cause: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/xcode/notarizing_macos_software_before_distribution

Beginning in macOS 10.15, all software built after June 1, 2019, and distributed with Developer ID must be notarized.
