The LimbSolver linear vel slider should have a middle marker for zero. The range will be -1...1
You can scratch the needle back and forth on the record to make the arm jiggle.
Additional context
Being able to move backward is currently cumbersome. it's a really awful manual gearbox.
If the velocity slider can go in reverse, the gearbox is invisible.
Driving has fewer distractions and becomes much safer.
