To stay backward compatible we need to build all key components in usual build-env

We need to run through our legacy components and make them all buildable against the std linux build env - this will be necessary to

• establish the tests of new code against old implementation
• reuse the old components directly where appropriate

Then an issue for all relevant for bring-up components might be created (depending on the bring-up complexity)
