Hello, is it possible to provide it with a .obj input?

You will first need to align the SMPL body model to your .obj mesh to get the vectors betas and thetas. See here for more informations: https://github.com/MarilynKeller/OSSO/issues/13

Hi, you can also try this tool by meshcapade to convert a 3D mesh of a person into a SMPL mesh: https://me.meshcapade.com/from-scans

(I haven't tried it by myself)
