Thanks, Ben. I will try to use GitHub more for commenting. We also have to keep in mind oil and gas sensitivities but that should be easier.
For now, I've attached papers on sensitivities related to invertebrates and fish, and the articles that cite these papers are good too.
Chancellor, Emily, Steven A. Murawski, Claire B. Paris, Larry Perruso, and Natalie Perlin. 2020. “Comparative Environmental Sensitivity of Offshore Gulf of Mexico Waters Potentially Impacted by Ultra-Deep Oil Well Blowouts.” In Scenarios and Responses to Future Deep Oil Spills, edited by Steven A. Murawski, Cameron H. Ainsworth, Sherryl Gilbert, David J. Hollander, Claire B. Paris, Michael Schlüter, and Dana L. Wetzel, 443–66. Cham: Springer International Publishing. https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-030-12963-7_26.
Hare, Jonathan A., Wendy E. Morrison, Mark W. Nelson, Megan M. Stachura, Eric J. Teeters, Roger B. Griffis, Michael A. Alexander, et al. 2016. “A Vulnerability Assessment of Fish and Invertebrates to Climate Change on the Northeast U.S. Continental Shelf.” Edited by Jan Geert Hiddink. PLOS ONE 11 (2): e0146756. https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0146756.
Also, here are a couple of papers on mammal vulnerabilities:
Hague, Emily L., Carol E. Sparling, Ceri Morris, Duncan Vaughan, Rebecca Walker, Ross M. Culloch, Alastair R. Lyndon, Teresa F. Fernandes, and Lauren H. McWhinnie. 2022. “Same Space, Different Standards: A Review of Cumulative Effects Assessment Practice for Marine Mammals.” Frontiers in Marine Science 9 (March). https://doi.org/10.3389/fmars.2022.822467.
Lettrich, Matthew D., Michael J. Asaro, Diane L. Borggaard, Dorothy M. Dick, Roger B. Griffis, Jenny A. Litz, Christopher D. Orphanides, et al. 2023. “Vulnerability to Climate Change of United States Marine Mammal Stocks in the Western North Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico, and Caribbean.” PLOS ONE 18 (9): e0290643. https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0290643.
PS Here are the sensitivities I have so far explored at marinesensitivity.org/workflows/: stressors (bold) -> receptors (bold italics) in region
(fixed width):
oil & gas -> seabirds in GoMex
Explore seabird vulnerability to oil (Michael et al, 2022)
climate change -> marine mammals in Atlantic
Explore marine mammal vulnerabilities to climate change in U.S. Atlantic (Lettrich et al, 2023)
renewable energy -> marine mammals in Pacific
Explore Species Sensitivities (Southall et al, 2023)
