Completely modified the way we access the video feed. Now the client is responsible to issue a signal to the signalling server to receive the video feed using the usual \<video> tag, and some JS magic.

Added HTTPS and WSS support. Issued a requirement to LetsEncrypt CA to get a valid SSL/TLS certificate and key.
