Extra detail to methods probably needs to be added; a citation to Belinda's paper for robust EB (this can probably fit into the main text at "using either the quasi-likelihood framework with robust EB shrinkage (Lund et al. 2012, Phipson et al. 2016)") and a mention that we also use robust EB in limma/voom.
