while we see

listed correctly in a Yaml configured instance, the Ui list isnt displayed in a UI configured instance

also tested it with:

frontend:
  extra_module_url:
    - /local/lovelace/resources/custom-ui/custom-ui.js

which loads the resource fine, but still no list listed.

seems odd, and Frontend devs state there is no change in the panel at all.

we should check if this is something we can fix.

closing, seems to have been a version mixup.
