You could ask the same question of each of your parents, their parents, etc.
One problem with this is that some very small number of people don't actually know their own birth dates. If we extend it to ask your parents and grandparents, many more people wouldn't have this information. Perhaps for them you could just pick an estimated or arbitrary birthdate. (This would have the same effect as a random coin toss, except for being more tied to the identity of the person than a random coin toss)
