Your plug-in looks great! Even do, I'd suggest to improve few things (if it's possible):

attaching an image from the "rendering view", is not possible
moving in the "rendering view", is not so comfortable, as you are moving the entire "view" and also your cursor from one node to another
in "rendering view" it is not possible to delete a node (using only the keyboard)
