any suggested way to compare the two .json of two rich map? thx #677

hi, i myself is a long time mindmap user. for mindmanager, i just copy two maps AS TEXT and paste into beyond compare pro. then at least i can knew the differences.

that's why i like the basic mode more. BUT many function only present in rich mode.

i saw rich mode data is a .json but if feed into beyond compare, it became just a single line.

any good compare tools or any suggestions? thanks.

btw, BC4 allow ignore "[[" and "]]" so for me, i can keep the old map's added [[ and ]], while just insert the new lines, if I am using the basic mode. i guess same can be ignored in rich mode, only that the .json have to be processed like a tree, not a single line.

ps beyond compare pro is a good software, there are foss alternatives image

you can select root node , then use copy as markdown in more options , then use ctrl +v paste to txt file

yes, this is working. in rich mode, copy as markdown then paste into BC4 can easily compare them. thx
