You can take a look at the update logs. Version v3 requires an upgrade activation code to make up for the price difference

Ah, I see, I thought the license was actually forever.

I bought the license when it was on v1. Is there any discount for upgrading to v3? Thank you very much image

You can choose option for 16 $ , and click Buy to automatically calculate the difference, just make up the difference by 4 $.
