I had planned to have an option to automatically update the profile originally, but I now have a couple of problems with this:
If there's a way of providing the results that makes it easier to import into NS, but still essentially forces the user to review what the changes are rather than blindly copying them over, I could have a look at that.
It should have an online view of the suggested changes, then a checkbox on each change, and a select all suggested changes, which enables a button to upload to NS, and an input to type-in your NS API Key. This could be semi automatic, but better than typing each suggestion, with the risk of mistyping the values.
...agree that the cons and security risks outweigh the benefits here.
IMO I believe that manually typing them also makes you more aware of any large changes, when you're changing a 0.5u/hr basal to 1.3u/hr you're going to think hold on that doesn't look quite right and second guess and investigate.
I also think it's worth keeping in mind that AutoTune data needs to be taken with a pinch of salt... It's only as good as the data entered, and gives an idea of the direction of which things should be changed but it's not an exact science as body is not as simple as a mathematical machine... Remembering that you know your body better than an algorithm is key (as amazing as oref1 is ) 👍
Well, as I understand it, Open APS does this automatically, so it doesn't requires you to manually enter the changes, one advantage of doing so is that you have daily adjustments, which could lead to better control.

Hi, it would be helpful if we could update the NS profile from the results, in an semi automated way.
