[Bug] URL and Custom Skins not showing up for other people. #269

New people playing on the server are seeing the default steve skin for most NPCs except for the NPCs that use "player" skins. If they weren't there when we applied the URL skins they see the default steve or alex skin. The custom skins don't change at all for anyone that isn't the creator. We've been trying to find clever ways to get around this to no avail.

heyo, Im a server owner who is experiencing the same thing.

The Information I can give is that when we first put the mod on the server, it worked for everyone involved, then it just suddenly stopped for new players after about a week or two. The PLAYER skin option DOES work, but it is dependent on what skin said player is using when others log on (and unfortunately is not something I can use reliably). To add on, there is also an NPC we have that uses the FILE skin option and does work, but only for a singular skin. what makes it even odder is that this specific NPC when originally making the skin, used URL and did not work for anyone, but now works. (i have no idea if this makes sense, but it basically did the opposite of the other NPCs).

I have done everything to try and resolve this skin issue however nothing has worked. This includes going into the skins file and removing the skin files, renaming the skins, and putting them back to no avail.
