i have a question #3

when i add new mods to my modpack does the mod add the mod to the config file or do i need to delete the config for it to check it?

also what happens if a server is both client and server?

Thanks for your question. In general the config file is only need to overwrite the detection for specific mods which could not be detected over the provided information within the mod.

So normally you don't need to update or add your mods to your list and most of them should work out-of-the-box.

In the case a server is both client and server (like lan game, local game) it will not change the client side mods.
