What is the topic, opinion, or issue you want to talk about?

The following changes were made:

Added branch protection to main branch
Created a branch development
@ MarkusEicher is the code owner for the repository

What we need to do:

Documenting the settings of the branch protection rule and their impact on the merge process
Documenting the change to contribute to the development branch and not to the main branch
Documenting the workflow for review and approval with the above settings in mind
