Pre-existing rtorrent directory (not a bug ; enhancement) #2

It would be very nice if you could add a few lines to explain how to handle the re-use of an external mounted prevous rtorrent directory (with downloads a .session directories).

What I did is first have the old rtorrent disk mounted permanently on /srv/rtorrent and then run your script.

It looks like it works and I did not have to worry about changing the files ownerships.

Atm. I don't know where to start for this. May I should think about a transitionsscript for arakasi72/rtinst to my script like I did for the script from Bercik1337/rt-auto-install

You can set a different location at this part of the script Ib_Scripted Installation_edit_rtorrent to the momentary location. So you can use the current mount point

Yes thats right, I have hoped to sail around it, with the softlink I arange to the homedir of the selected user

Sorry I didn't read your Issue not carefully enough, you want to adopt your "old" torrents from a preview installation that uses rtorrent. I have a function to move the rtorrent basedir maybe I can modify it to adopt older torrents
