Flymod not responding to fly key #1

Using MC 1.11.2 with Forge. Installed LiteLoader, and have a profile for Forge+Lite. Added the .litemod file to my mods directory. In game options, I see the config options for the mod (keys for fly and settings). In world, I can bring up the fly settings and change them, but the fly key does not seem to register. I have verified that the keys I'm setting do not conflict with any other mods (JEI, LL overlay, treechopper, Xaeros minimap). Have I missed a step?

Did you activate the fly mod by pressing the fly key you have set? Notice that the key is just a toggle key. When pressing the key once flying get's enabled, the second time flying get's disabled. When you have enabled the fly mode you should easily be able to fly up by pressing the jump key and fly down by pressing the sneak key.

I did try to enable it. I tried pressing it once as a toggle, holding it down, and double-tap. My jump key only caused the normal jump during all these attempts.

In case it is important, the default keys for the mod conflicted with others when I first loaded it. I set them to non-conflicting keys before I tried it the first time. In a few minutes, I'll try to disabling the other mods to see if any of them interfere.

I just tried launching Minecraft with only liteloader active. All my other mods are in Forge, and were not active when Minecraft hit the main menu. I made sure the keys were reset to default, and started a world. Again, the settings key works - I was able to see the speed settings and such - but the key to enable flying did not respond. I tried single-tap, double-tap, and holding it down. My character just jumped normally.

im having same issue using liteloader even changed the activate buttion still dont work with 1.11.2
