[FR] Configurations for all 3D printers and every possible permutation #649

This is a catch-all for all "me too" configuration requests. If you can submit partly or fully working configs for printers we don't yet support, please do, as we rely on owners of machines to test and verify Marlin and provide well tuned configurations. Starting configurations can often be found in Marlin forks provided by manufacturers.

Hi. I am not very proficient with the Marlin structure. I want to make a 3D printer controller with a generic NodeMCU ESP32 module and use another ESP01 for ESP3D webui without the need for an LCD. I tried modifying the configuration and configuration_adv file for this but I could not get it to work. Is there a configuration example where it supports ESP3D webui without LCD? Otherwise, please guide me on how I can create an example configuration and submit to the community. Thanks!

Lol, second ESP? There is ESP3D_WIFISUPPORT. All runs on same chip.

Oh. Didn't know that. Thanks @EvilGremlin. I'll check that out. Just to confirm, if I turn on this ESP3D_WIFISUPPORT option, we do not require an LCD right?

Looking for help for a configuration file for the Two Trees SP-5 V3 with the version 3.1 Robin nano board.

This issue is for requests that "someone in the world" please create and add a particular machine to our configuration pile, not a place to ask for assistance in making such a configuration. You can use the listed community support options to get help with that, and then if you manage to create a working configuration please submit it to this repo so that others may benefit.

@bradstoik this FR is mainly for people to link their Pull Request to when submitting new example configurations. Your Ender 5 Pro has example configurations in the Marlin Configurations repo

Didn't realize there was no config upstream for it, uses a known board. I have a config in my repo for it I can clean up and drop in.

I disagree, his use is exactly what I see this as being for. No need to post here if there's a pr....

That would be so helpful. Thanks a bunch. I'm hoping with a starting point I can learn my way threw this but without the config files I was in way over my head.

hello, can you please add the configuration from a printer manufactured by Hobbyking which is called Turnigy Fabrikator?

Unfortunatly there is not much good documentation and they deleted all firmware related stuff from their homepage. i struggled very hard to get a new firmware with correct configuration. i actually uploaded that particular marlin 2 firmware for the printer here on github in order to help other people out there. there is unfortunatly nothing anymore that runs "out of the box". i wrote about the situation in the readme. it would be really really awesome if you can include it! i worked very hard on it.

also i want to apologize if i had to do something like a fork or so. if you wish me to do so i comply of course. i purely uploaded it for "conservation" reasons to help others :)

@MasterDenis the motherboard is supported, the sovol user interface is not in stock marlin. More is needed that just an updated config. But I have added it this to the list (in initial post)

@Blisk its a standard config provided by marlin https://github.com/MarlinFirmware/Configurations/tree/bugfix-2.1.x/config/examples/Creality/CR-10%20Max Only in bugfix currently.

Can you make a version for the: Creality Ender 3 V2 Neo - BTT SKR Mini E3 V3, But with the stock 4.3" Ender 3 V2 Neo LCD Screen? (I posted as an issue and not a comment on accident.) There is already a version for this printer and board but for the btt screen (#1032) , not the included stock screen. :)

@Cracoukas: BTT’s UI was never ported upstream, so you have to use the existing TFT_COLOR_UI in the BX config if you want to use a current version of Marlin. If you prefer their UI, you have to stick with their unmaintained fork.

@Cracoukas: BTT’s UI was never ported upstream, so you have to use the existing TFT_COLOR_UI in the BX config if you want to use a current version of Marlin. If you prefer their UI, you have to stick with their outdated fork.

Yes, the pitty is that the outdated fork works only with V2.0 board but they sell V3.0 boards without support. I suppose I will have to try Klipper to find out if it's any better

Hi!

Configuration "BOARD_CHITU3D_V6" is for old V6 board, based on f103 MCU. Tronxy Use it before 2022.

Is "TronXY X5SA - CXY-V6-191121" (based on STM32F446) and "CXY-446-V10-220413" are same boards? and can i use "BOARD_TRONXY_V10" on "V6-191121" board?

#446 V6-191121 has been discontinued. Please order high version #446 V10-220413 according to models, which are common for same models.

Want to try, but afraid it will be bricked =)

Try to compile Configurations-release-2.1.2.3/config/examples/Tronxy/X5SA/ with

#define MOTHERBOARD BOARD_CHITU3D_V6

all ok, but this configuration for f103 MCU (before 2022),

Change it to

#define MOTHERBOARD BOARD_TRONXY_V10

Got correct f446 MCU, but this error on compiling:
