You haven't included your Configuration.h files. It will be very difficult to help you without knowing how you are trying to configure the machine.
But these 'random' type of failures are very often associated with not having enough 'local memory' available. If you scale back your mesh size from 15 x 15 to 10 x 10 (for example)... that will free up some memory and you may get better results.
Please cut & paste the final text from when Arduino builds and uploads the firmware image to your board. It will be very helpful to know what it says about your memory usage.
Configuration.txt Full File
Here is my Z probe and bed leveling options. I included the full file above.
Sketch uses 182288 bytes (71%) of program storage space. Maximum is 253952 bytes.
Global variables use 5274 bytes (64%) of dynamic memory, leaving 2918 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 8192 bytes.
Memory shouldn't be a problem. You have plenty of 'head room'.
I'm guessing you got everything running OK ? Can this be closed?
