What probe are you using? Configuration.h? logs?
I´m using a servo with microswitch
logs from Repetier:

How many points do you want to probe? Do you have enough RAM for that?
3x3 points. Running on a Ramps 1.4 on Arduino board. I´m running the RC7 bugfix on another printer with the same board and there it´s working.
@pettib, just a guess. Do you have advance feature enabled in configuration_adv.h?
//#define ADVANCE <-this line uncommented
#if ENABLED(ADVANCE)
#define EXTRUDER_ADVANCE_K .3
#define D_FILAMENT 1.75
#endif
Just ran into similar issue on my CoreXY.
@pettib Just to remind you, if you have stepper drive set to 1/64 or 1/128 step, and/or enabling LIN_ADVANCE feature, you best option is to slow down your XY movement speed to 50-100, otherwise it will kill your mega2560. It just isn't powerful enough...
Problem solved ! It was as soimy wrote. It was problem with the speed of the movement. I reduced the speed and is now working. Thanks everyone.
Slow down XY movement speed to 50-100 when enabling LINEAR_ADV ? Heck, it's enabling LINEAR_ADV that allows me to increase print speed from 50 to 100mm/s. @pettib - What happens if you revert to the high movement speed but drop serial speed to 115200 ?
@pettib - now that I think about it, a lot of us would be very curious if you saw a different behavior when running the original settings but with PR #5481 FW ?
different behavior when running the original settings but with PR #5481 FW ?
This PR haven't been merged to RCBugfix branch yet, but I'm looking forward to it. Currently using LIN_ADVANCE
will add more pressure to Timer used by steppers.
I think something got mixed up here. @pettib mentioned nowhere he is using ADVANCE or LIN_ADVANCE. @fiveangle slowdown the print speed in relation with high microstepping is a result of the fact that Marlin can only do up to 40.000 steps/s in theory. In reality, depending in with features or kinematics are enabled, it may be even lower. If you have a fixed upper steps/s value, the resulting max. possible speed is depending on the steps/mm value. Higher microstepping, higher steps/mm value.
Yes, @Sebastianv650 i skimmed @ozligia 's comment too quickly before.
Most likely fixed in the current RCBugFix
. If not, start a new issue and mention this one.

I just upgraded my Prusa I3 to RC8 and got problem with G29. I also tried RC8 BugFix but same problem. I can do 28 homing and it´s working good but when i start the leveling with G29 it goes to the first point and deploy the probe and goes up, when i starts to move to next point it stops after about 1cm in X move. and the diplay says KILLED, Printer Halted. Always on the same point. I tried with both Liniear and Bilinear version of 3 point leveling.
Some with a guess what this can be or how I can find out what the problem is.
