If you post your configuration files we can help advise you what to disable. If you have enabled AUTO_BED_LEVELING_UBL
, start with that - it doesn't fit on the Anet board.
I turned off the BLtouch sections and the Marlin sketch is below the max memory but it still fails. I think I may have bricked the bootloader. I get the following from Arduino;
avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 10 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x3e
and this from Marlin-configurator
avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 10 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x70
avrdude done. Thank you.

Stumped… I must be doing something wrong!
I am trying to upgrade my stock ANET A6 board to Marlin so I can add a BLTouch. It seems that the program is slightly too large to fit and fails to load with either the Arduino IDE or Marlin-configuator. I’m assuming that the board has a bootloader else I couldn’t load (fail) to upload the new OS.
The board was working with Repiter prior to attempting the flash, now It’s just a blank screen.
Can I leave something out to get the program under the memory ceiling? It's missing by less than 2500 bytes.
This is my first time at upgrading my printer so please don't assuming I know anything - thanks.
