Cannot use pictures from the gallery as a background (motorola milestone)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to Bacground/Choose background and choose "From the gallery"
2. Select the picture and return to the homescreen

Instead of the chosen picture the background remains black

I am using earth live wallpapers version 1.3.2 on motorola milestone with 
android 2.1

The hardware on the milestone doesn't allow non pur power of two textures :(
you have to choose textures with correct aspect ratio like 1/2 , the soft 
resize it to 512x(512*apsect)
for example, a square picture should be fine.

I get this on the Motorola Droid as well, 2.1. Perhaps we need to use a 
particular 
resolution image?

i think the millestone IS the droid, just the european name.

I Have installed and removed installer and tried again, I still cant pull them 
up on 
my screen but there on the phone I can see the file when I connect to my 
computer 
help I dont get it motorola droid 2.1
