I really hope that there can be a solution for the galaxy S and Tab.
An new comment could be two finger touch for drag and drop.

Mine is a galaxy s;
1) It would be awesome if you can scroll up and down using a small area of the
gmote touch area on the right (like on the thinkpad)
2) zooming can be implemented by a two fingers solutions as is implemented in
browsing websites with your android browser.
3) drag and drop: holding down a key on the key board (e.g. the letter q or d)
of the gmote touch and move your finger on the gmote touch.
thanks

Confirmed. As per standard touchpad design, expect to be able to
tap-release-tap quickly, then be able to drag to perform this, however instead
it right-clicks without moving the mouse.

I would love to see right click and middle click implemented as zone clicks
i.e. a tap in the top right corner is a right click, and a tap in the top left
corner is a middle click. That would free up the double tap and hold to be a
click and drag action.

I have a Motorola Droid, which has no trackball. Not being able to click-drag
is obnoxious.

it would be tight as hell if they could use the same setup as an asus smartpad.
one tap left click, two finger tap middle click, three finger tap right click.
although i dont know which phones besides galaxy S support more than two touch
points

Would also love to drag without using a trackball since I don't have a
trackball :(

Sad to see that this issue could not be fixed within the last 12 months. This
app is really great, but without any way for scrolling it is not usable on most
devices as they don't have a trackball.
Fix this issue please, and Gmote will be nearly perfect ;-)
