Floating XP #210

What I would really like to see is an XP floater above your head just like you 
get when you receive damage, let it linger for slightly longer and make sure 
the font face is larger and possibly a gold colour. Then remove the XP from the 
loot window itself.

And I would like it to be that way. ;-)

This would also solve the problem that some people think the loot window is a 
victorious window. They think they could not get xp when they get no loot 
window.

Here is a patch to animate the experience gained after a kill. I made it the 
same color as the experience bar.

Tried to take a look at this, but unless I'm crazy, I don't see the associated 
drawable object for effect_none? Inserted a blank PNG in there, and it looks 
fantastic though.

Strange I did add an effects none png, maybe it didn't make it in the patch 
file?

Getting a force close when poisoned.  Reverted out all patches but this one, 
still having an issue. Haven't debugged it yet, but it made me sad.

I need this idea to work, for some reason I like keeping track of how much exp 
I get. I hate not seeing it, either in the combat log or as a flash animation 
above the char.
Is there any progress with this as of late?
